Got some more copic colors and some sanguine Faber Castell PITT pens. I also put on some silly yet fun Prang kid’s glitter watercolor, but sadly the sparklies don’t really show up on the scanner.
Also trying to see if I can carry over the stuff I’ve been learning in my srsbsns head drawing class into my more cartoony fanart. Verdict…. unsure.
Though I love using my media, I always get a kick out of seeing what skilled artists can do with the exact same tools (the markers and inking pens in this case).

So this year I decided to take part in an online Secret Santa. I rarely do, but it was within the Dragon Age community and I love Dragon Age fans (seriously, you guys are so awesome!)
Anyhow, naturally I wanted to get this done before I go away for Christmas, which is why mine is done so soon.
This image is for djkaeru. It became pretty clear looking at their SS form and Tumblr that they’re a big Anders fan, so naturally I couldn’t resist drawing up a little something of him. :)

So I hear this is sketchavember but my worldly position on the globe makes me a day ahead of many people so…have several to cover the 1st and 2nd!

I finished Dragon Age 2: Mark of the Assassin DLC today.
Given that the NZ PSN doesn’t update until Thursdays, I was delayed in getting it and saw tibbets around Tumblr with many people not impressed. I was worried myself about playing it and not liking it. Thankfully, from my OWN personal perspective, I really loved and enjoyed it!
ALSO ANDERS HRRNNNNNN~! XD Having him as my LI, his dialog had some BEAUTIFUL lines that made this currently unwell girl very, very happy. And so much talk of feathered pauldrons too. Reminds me of my old comments about wanting to nuzzle face-first in Mage shoulder pauldrons - be it the fur or feathered kind!
Speaking of feathers, Anders - I’d totally collect feathers for you any time, darlin’!
